摘要: The precision of human vision requires displays to be accurate about 0.2% the luminance range. We present a technique by which this grey-level can achieved with use an 8-bit color monitor. basic idea is 'steal' adjacent bits from variation for in increasing variation. On monitor 8 per gun, provide 1786 or more grey levels at cost one bit jitter, standard D/A hardware. variations are invisible under almost all conditions.
