摘要: Situational judgment tests (SJTs) are personnel selection instruments that present job applicants with work-related situations and possible responses to the situations. There typically 2 types of instructions: behavioral tendency knowledge. Behavioral instructions ask respondents identify how they would likely behave in a given situation. Knowledge evaluate effectiveness Results showed response influenced constructs measured by tests. Tests knowledge had higher correlations cognitive ability. personality constructs. also little moderating effect on criterion-related validity. Supplemental analyses construct validity was not due systematic differences item content. SJTs have incremental over ability, Big 5, composite ability 5.
