摘要: The authors present here a method called 3D virtual colonoscopy, which is an alternative to existing procedures of imaging the mucosal surface colon. Using reconstruction helical CT data and volume visualization techniques, generate images inner colon as if viewer's eyes were inside They also create interactive flythroughs off-line automatically-produced animations through accomplished with VolVis, comprehensive system for visualization. are specifically interested in visualizing colonic polyps larger than one cm since these have high probability containing carcinoma. testing results their applied two plastic pipe simulations Visible Human set.
