Phase Relations Between β-Tricalcium Phosphate and Hydroxyapatite with Manganese(II): Structural and Spectroscopic Properties

摘要: The preparation of Mn-containing β-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP) samples was achieved in two ways: a) transformation precipitated calcium hydroxyapatite (HA) to β-TCP by heating at 1100 °C, and b) solid-state reaction a mixture CaCO3, (NH4)2HPO4, Mn(NO3)2 °C. Powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) analyses the samples, obtained both methods, show well-defined patterns with structural data rhombohedral R3c, phase. calculated lattice constants are smaller than those known for β-Ca3(PO4)2 because substitution Ca2+ Mn2+. EPR spectroscopy indeed reveals that manganese is divalent samples. Apparently, Ca(5) site structure occupied distribution Mn2+ between HA phase case (b) studied spectroscopy, pronounced preference former found. Micron- submicron-sized crystals visible faces were observed TEM prepared reaction, large micron-sized, droplike-shaped crystals, sensitive beam radiation, found elevated temperatures.
