Drivers of Rh and Pt variability in the water column of a hydrodynamic estuary: Effects of contrasting environments

摘要: Abstract Rhodium and platinum are amongst the less studied elements in estuarine waters understanding of their speciation analysis environmental fate remains limited. In this study, we address occurrence discrimination soluble/insoluble Rh Pt species aquatic systems, as well potential transport. Particulate dissolved ( 65%). The transport evaluated at downstream station indicated recirculation within estuary export towards Atlantic Ocean, with higher concentrations associated ebb opposing to flood. These results show estuaries important pathways introduce PGE coastal regions, transferring them ocean.
