摘要: GB virus C (GBV-C) is a single stranded positive sense RNA virus, which member of the Flaviviridae, discovered in 1995 and it most closely related human to hepatitis (HCV). Unlike HCV, GBV-C considered be lymphotropic viral population infecting CD8 T cells B cells. infection has not been convincingly associated with any known disease; however, several studies have found an association between persistent improved survival slower disease progression GBV-C/HIV co-infected patients. relatively common worldwide distribution 1-5% healthy blood donors developed countries their sera. In this review we discuss natural history, epidemiology its prevalence different population, focusing on associations interaction HIV infection.
