Toxic effect of ethanolic extract of Nerium oleander (Apocynaceae) leaves against different developmental stages of Muscina stabulans (Diptera-Muscidae).

摘要: Nerium oleander (Apocynaceae) is evergreen shrubs widely used for ornamental purpose in mediterranean region. The present investigation, revealed the first time insecticidal effect of ethanolic extract from leaves this plant against 2nd instar larvae medically important false stable fly Muscina stabulans (Diptera: Muscidae). LC50 was 113.66 ppm. This dose delayed larval and pupal duration suppressed oviposition decreased adult longevity survivors. Morphogenic abnormalities were recorded photographed larval, stages, which produced treating with different concentrations extract.
