摘要: Abstract This study presents the convergence analysis of recently developed finite volume preserving scheme (Forestier-Coste and Mancini, 2012) for approximating a coalescence or Smoluchowski equation. The idea is to preserve total in system by modifying kernel using notion overlapping bins (cells). consistency examined thoroughly order prove second-order on uniform, non-uniform smooth locally uniform grids independently aggregation kernel. theoretical observations verified experimental analytically tractable kernels.
