摘要: The explosive growth of computer and communications technology raises new legal ethical challenges that reflect tensions between individual rights societal needs. For instance, should cracking into a system be viewed as petty prank, trespassing, theft, or espionage? Should placing copyrighted material onto public file server treated freedom expression theft? ordinary encrypted using codes make it impossible for law-enforcement agencies to perform wiretaps? As we develop shared understandings norms behaviour, are setting standards will govern the information society decades come.
