摘要: Abstract Tryptophan and many of its indole metabolites were separated using reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) determined electrochemical detection. This was accomplished isocratically an acetate—citric acid eluent with various amounts methanol. Brain pineal tissue analyzed for several tryptophan metabolites. Tissue preparation required only homogenization in acidic solution centrifugation prior to application the HPLC column. Detection limits low picogram range found those indoles separated.
