摘要: Seven male sperm whales stranded on the southern North Sea coast during 1994/95 winter were analysed for stable pollutant concentrations in muscle, liver, kidney and blubber: heavy metals (total organic Hg, Se, Zn, Pb, Ni, Cd, Fe, Cr, Cu Ti), organochlorines (PCBs pesticides) polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). High of Cd (up to 300 μg/g dw kidney), Hg 130 liver) PCBs 5 blubber) detected, but not considered as direct cause mortality, while their possible indirect influence health status and/or behaviour Atlantic whale population is discussed.
