摘要: Observing interactions among chemical species and microorganisms in the earth's sub-surface is a common task field of geology. Bioremediation experiments constitute one such class which focus on getting rid pollutants through processes as carbon sequestration. The main goal scientists' observations to analyze dynamics reactions understand how they collectively affect content soil. In our work, we extract high-level goals geologists propose visual analytics solution helps scientists deriving insights about multivariate, temporal behavior these species. Specifically, key contributions are following: i) characterization domain-specific their translation exploratory data analysis tasks, ii) developing an analytical abstraction form perceptually motivated screen-space metrics for bridging gap between tasks visualization, iii) realization VIMTEX, set coordinated multiple views letting observe relationships data. We provide several examples case studies along with expert feedback demonstrating efficacy solution.
