摘要: Impact-collision ion-scattering spectroscopy, low-energy electron diffraction, and Rutherford backscattering spectroscopy have been used to analyze the $\mathrm{Ni}{111}\ensuremath{-}(\sqrt{3}\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}\sqrt{3})R30\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}\ensuremath{-}\mathrm{Pb}$ structure. It was found that annealing Pb-covered Ni surfaces with an initial coverage of 0.45 ML gives rise a stable The experimental data computer simulations support structural model for structure in which Pb atoms displace part first layer incorporate them into layer, displaced outward 0.2 \AA{} respect first-layer atoms. However, 20--30% are randomly missing from ideal model. This study shows surface alloying immiscible metals agreement other recent studies.
