摘要: Mammalian oocytes are arrested in metaphase of second meiosis (MII) until fertilization. This arrest is enforced by the cytostatic factor (CSF), which maintains M-phase promoting (MPF) a highly active state. Although continuous synthesis and degradation cyclin B to maintain CSF-mediated MII well established, it unknown whether cyclin-dependent kinase 1 (Cdk1) phosphorylations involved this mouse oocytes. Here, we show that dynamic equilibrium Cdk1 phosphorylation required arrest. When Cdc25A phosphatase downregulated, released from MPF becomes inactivated. inactivation occurs absence dependent on Wee1B-mediated Cdk1. Thus, our data demonstrate activity maintained during not only turnover but also steady state phosphorylation.
