摘要: ABSTRACTObjectives: This study explored experiences of violence and coping among lesbian, gay, bisexual transgender (LGBT) youth in Kingston, Jamaica. Methods: We conducted three focus groups with LGBT (18–29 years old), one gay men (n = 10); women 8); the third lesbian 5). Thematic analysis was used to understand lived coping. Results: Findings revealed complexity types, sites, consequences violence, adaptive maladaptive strategies. Conclusions: Assets-based interventions support Jamaica should build on peer community support.
