摘要: Allergen immunotherapy has been shown to be efficacious in numerous studies for the clinical indications of allergic asthma and rhinitis, as well hymenoptera venom hypersensitivity. How allergen improves symptoms is still not entirely clear. Decreases specific IgE follow a complex cascade effects: shifting cytokine milieu from T H 2 1 predominance, with resultant decrease interleukin 4, decreased recruitment activation eosinophils, proliferation mast cells. exposure lessened ability stimulate an inflammatory cell response, target organ hyperreactivity. Since without risk, decision needs made whether injection therapy safe provides benefit achievable by medical management. The continued clarification optimal concentrations through careful standardized extracts will allow better control adverse events limiting unnecessarily potent mixtures.
