Depth coding as an additional channel to video sequence

摘要: A 3D video coding apparatus and method which selectively codes data from a plurality of sources to include depth information. Coding may be performed by combining information with view information, such as RGB, YCrCb, or YUV, coded together the as, RGBD, YCrCbD YUVD. An code based on format flag no (e.g. 2D format) chroma channel. The separately YCrCb cost rate distortion estimate encode obtain highest quality.
