摘要: We consider the problem of maximizing alphafairness utility over downlink a heterogeneous wireless network (HetNet) by jointly optimizing association users to transmission points (TPs) and activation fractions all TPs. Activation fraction each TP is frame duration for which it active, together these influence interference seen in network. To address this joint optimization we adopt an approach wherein user associations are optimized alternating manner. The sub-problem determining optimal solved using auxiliary function method that show provably convergent amenable distributed implementation. On other hand, via simple combinatorial algorithm. Meaningful performance guarantees derived variant offering identical also proposed. significant benefits proposed algorithms then demonstrated realistic simulations.
