摘要: Gossip routing is an approach to reduce the redundancy of flooding in wireless networks. A study by Haas et al. evaluated different gossip variants simulations on regular and random network topologies. Using DES-Testbed, a mesh network, we tried replicate their experiments evaluate whether findings hold real world scenarios. Four experiment setup are elaborated as well issues regarding replication discussed. With this demonstrate that even small deployments show bimodal behavior when certain probability threshold passed.
