摘要: Abstract The Spanish set-longline fleet operating in ICES Subareas VI, VII and Divisions VIIIabd is composed of two segments distinguished according to tonnage: vessels larger shorter than 100 grt. regulations allow Spanish-registered longliners fishing European waters prosecute three different types fisheries, namely targeting hake, non-TAC species deepwater species. Due the fact that type license not registered logbooks, together with recent changes regulation on some species, conducting multivariate analyses landing profiles at level becomes most appropriate way identify fisheries metiers. A 3-step approach was used, consisting clustering landings (2004–2006), interviews skippers by group, an exploration spatial–temporal patterns both sources information. results obtained allowed us eight fisheries. Of these, four were common segment giving metiers: directed forkbeards, lings, conger. remaining metiers, mixed metier developed 100 grt occurred throughout period studied, while metiers showed discontinuous bluemouth, Atlantic pomfret, sharks, respectively. first appeared 2006, last one found occur during 2004–2005 but disappeared 2006. match system classification used Common DCF (data collection framework) taking into account current categorization regulations.
