摘要: Sea water is purified by reverse osmosis in an offshore installation wherein sea withdrawn from the a low pressure pump and passed through plural-stage physical filters having decreasing degrees of porosity to remove suspended particles colloids water. The thus filtered then fed high pump, at controlled above osmotic module, portion permeates semi-permeable membrane module form potable water, remaining dissolved salt concentration thereof increased, discharged back sea. operated such that conversion level, measured percent equal volume divided maintained below maximum value prevent formation on sulfates carbonates.
