摘要: The partial differential equation for the vector potential of salient-pole heteropolar machines is established by considering nonlinearities iron and current density fields. nonlinear equation, similar to Poisson's transformed into a difference find magnetic induction at discrete points in cross section machine. Alternating relaxation methods are used obtain numerical solutions. procedure accelerated considerably new method adjusting between successive iterations. no-load characteristic air-gap flux distributions medium-sized 8-pole alternator. Calculated voltages test results show good agreement.
