摘要: Poor air quality has been shown to harm the health and development of children. Research on these relationships focused almost exclusively effects human-made pollutants, not fully distinguished between contemporaneous long-run effects. This paper contributes both fronts. Merging data plant pollen, pollutants ECLS-K academic skills, I study relationship poor in first years life school-readiness, ambient achievement young find evidence that exposure early childhood affects school readiness at start kindergarten, growth cognitive skills math reading continue into elementary school.
