摘要: SUMMARY The following results were obtained when fifty-seven bulk and crate-stored commercial seed potato stocks from the East of Scotland examined in 1966-8 for contamination by pectolytic Erwinia spp. (1) Most tubers all cultivars examined, irrespective whether they blackleg-infected or blackleg-free crops, contaminated with E. carotovora; (2) some 80% isolates identified as var. atroseptica, rest being (3) organisms survived on 6–7 months storage over winter up to planting time spring; (4) contrary what is generally thought, high incidence stocks, while suggesting that itself major source carotovora growing crop, emphasizes other factors affect manifestation blackleg field soft rot store.
