摘要: Abstract The study reports a facile method for the green synthesis of copper oxide nanoparticles (CuO Nps) by solution combustion using Tinospora cordifolia water extract. Nps were characterized XRD, SEM, TEM and UV–visible studies. XRD data indicates formation pure monoclinic crystallite structures CuO Nps. SEM images show that particles have sponge like structure with large surface area average sizes found to be ~6–8 nm. These observations confirmed analysis. Photocatalytic activity studies reveal they act as very good catalyst effective degradation methylene blue (MB) in presence UV Sun light. Also, MB was pH dependent. inhibit 1,1-Diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) free radicals effectively. exhibit significant bactericidal against Klebsiella aerogenes , Pseudomonas aeruginosa Escherichia coli Staphylococcus aureus . reveals simple, ecofriendly robust multifunctional nanoparticle employing underutilized medicinal plants.
