摘要: Abstract 1. Profiles of the blood amino acids (FAA) and related compounds blowfly Phormia regina have been determined during larval growth, commencing from late second instar. 2. The concentration total FAA increases to early third instars, but gradually decreases subsequent growth. Three broad categories differ according whether components either rise fall, progressively increase or remain about same maturation. increment in after acid hydrolysis declines 3. About 60 per cent instar is localized hemolymph 40 tissue. distribution individual between tissues very uneven. 4. Some nineteen ninhydrin-positive hydrolysable compounds, nine which isolated characterized as peptides, show remarkable changes Already present instar, their maximum occurs at rapidly thereafter. 5. peptides are low molecular weight, neutral basic character, predominantly composed two acids. Seven contain lysine, histidine remaining residue glutamic acid, aspartic (or corresponding amides), β-alanine, serine, glycine, valine isoleucine respectively.
