摘要: A shaft retention system is disclosed that particularly useful for attaching an axle to a side gear in differential case. The preferably has inner end with opposed flat surfaces extend groove the shaft. spring washer and clip having mating flats are mounted on end, aligned end. then rotated relative washer, tabs snap into notch preventing further rotation between two. In this position, no longer align of removal from C-shaped, formed by open C.
