摘要: We employed quantitative autoradiography to examine the distribution of thyrotropin-releasing hormone (TRH) receptors in rat CNS. The binding [3H]3-methyl-histidine-TRH [( 3H]MeTRH) TRH frozen brain sections was saturable, a high affinity (Kd = 5 nM), and specific for analogs. Autoradiograms [3H]MeTRH showed highest concentrations rhinencephalon, including accessory olfactory bulb, nuclei amygdala, ventral dentate gyrus subiculum hippocampus. Moderate receptor were found within thalamus hypothalamus, most regions rhombencephalon, such as cranial nerve nuclei, substantia gelatinosa spinal cord. Neocortex basal ganglia contained low densities receptors. This correlates well with sensitivity known effects TRH, suggests that may mediate actions
