What drives eco-innovators? A critical review of the empirical literature based on econometric methods

摘要: Abstract The aim of this paper is to provide a critical review the literature on econometric analyses firm-level determinants eco-innovation. reveals some gaps in knowledge. First, an integrated theoretical framework which merges insights from different approaches missing. Second, influence variables still unsettled (demand-pull and cost-savings), whereas others have hardly been included previous (internal international factors). Third, studies drivers eco-innovation versus general innovation are relatively scarce with respect those general. Fourth, relevance for distinct eco-innovator types largely Fifth, middle-income developing countries scarce.
