摘要: Abstract The aim of this paper is to provide a critical review the literature on econometric analyses firm-level determinants eco-innovation. reveals some gaps in knowledge. First, an integrated theoretical framework which merges insights from different approaches missing. Second, influence variables still unsettled (demand-pull and cost-savings), whereas others have hardly been included previous (internal international factors). Third, studies drivers eco-innovation versus general innovation are relatively scarce with respect those general. Fourth, relevance for distinct eco-innovator types largely Fifth, middle-income developing countries scarce. Sixth, relied microeconometric methods based cross-section data (mostly logit probit models), use panel virtually absent. Seventh, detailed barriers sectors regions not performed so far. Finally, whether position firm value chain market structure propensity eco-innovate unexplored topics.
