摘要: Abstract Placental retention (retained placenta [RP]) is a serious and common peripartum disease in mares, but the etiology pathogenesis of RP still remain unclear. The alteration cell proliferation apoptosis considered to be an important factor RP. Fetal membranes endometrial biopsies were collected from mares with (n = 8) control 10). levels chorionic epithelia assessed by proliferating nuclear antigen immunostaining terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP nick-end labeling assay, respectively. study revealed that there was insignificant decrease significant increase epithelium This result excludes imbalance possible causes In area nonpregnant horn placenta, negatively correlated positively degree fetomaternal anchorage. It observed that, all placental retention, (both luminal glandular) showed decreased increased apoptosis, which may indicate delay postpartum uterine regeneration.
