摘要: Abstract X-irradiation introduces single-strand breaks into the DNA of cells. After irradiation, cells rejoin these strand breaks. In L5178Y cells, it was found that this process did not require DNA, RNA or protein synthesis. Raising temperature postirradiation incubation from 37° to 43°, which influence initial rate rejoining, induced degradation. Lowering 20° below inhibited strand-break rejoining. Irradiation in presence 30 mM cysteamine cystamine number observed. Postirradiation at lower concentrations drugs It is concluded a cell probably do result lethal lesion.
