摘要: Abstract This is the second part of a study novel Sr–Ca–Ni–Y–B silicate sealing glass for solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC). Part I addresses effect NiO on forming, thermal, and mechanical properties, presented in preceding paper. In this paper (part II), candidate composite with 10 vol.% was tested standard coupons Ni/YSZ anode-supported YSZ electrolyte bilayer metallic interconnect Crofer22APU at various temperatures. Samples sealed highest temperature (1050 °C) showed hermetic seal after fully reduction 10 thermal cycles. The interfacial microstructure characterization no distinct reactions interfaces glass/YSZ or glass/metal, though some segregation Ni found along glass/metal interface. Possible were discussed. Overall appeared to be good SOFC sealing.
