摘要: The objective of this paper is to characterize drought-adaptation, and identify indicators drought-tolerance in potato the Andean Highlands. Six genotypes, representing a range contrasting morphological agronomic characters belonging three species, were grown containers. treatments R0 (irrigated control), R1 (progressive drought after tuberisation, with recovery period) R2 (as R1, but no irrigation). Genotypes differed plant height, leaf area index (LAI), proportion ground covered by green foliage root expansion. Drought did not significantly affect stem number, slightly decreased height number. It reduced canopy cover all genotypes. Dry matter production was greatly affected cultivars Ajahuiri Luky, very little other Under drought, Alpha CIP 382171.10 gave highest yields Luky lowest. Depending on genotype degree yield reduction, losses associated decrease either radiation intercepted, efficiency its conversion into dry matter, or harvest index. Harvest biomass correlated well tuber yield. Other parameters, such as cover, only treatment.
