摘要: In this chapter we analyze a firm’s propensity and timing to cooperate enter the industry’s innovation network. The conceptual framework considers three groups of determinants – organizational, relational contextual. Selected factors within these are assumed cause network change processes at micro-level tie formations terminations shape structural configuration overall level. elements substantiated by drawing upon evolutionary ideas concepts from organization science, sociology economics. following is organized as follows: We start with brief introduction in Sect. 9.1. Section 9.2 provides literature review introduces theoretical cornerstones needed for an in-depth discussion on change. Based derive our 9.3 formulate set testable hypothesis 9.4. 9.5 addresses some methodological issues overview data variables used. 9.6 introduce empirical approach present estimation results non-parametric event history model. 9.7 concludes summary implications key findings.
