摘要: Abstract The investigation of the rising use pesticides in Yazd City is a remarkable issue, respective witnesses on factors affecting issue are lacking. For this reason, contribution was intended to investigate determinants pesticide behavior (PUB) using design sequential-exploratory mixed method central Iran. In qualitative phase, verbal data (i.e., narratives) were collected. heuristic units case study thematically analyzed Atlas.ti software. obtained results served as that applied develop conceptual framework, including grounded concepts. By surveying 306 cucumber farmers, proposed model tested path analysis interface SPSS and AMOS, indicating fits with well. finds attitude towards indigenous knowledge pest disease management forecasts PUB indirectly by mediation attitude, behavioral intention, PBC. Moreover, large-scale farmers have better understanding usefulness IPM. Furthermore, scientific imitation influence PUB. Habitual avarice also negative impact addition, trust has an indirect via intention. It necessary take policy initiatives enhance efficient (1) establishing network relevant together knowledge, (2) disseminating innovations mitigate (e.g., Biochar), (3) giving information so they persuaded make money much fulfill their fundamental needs, change detrimental habits use, (4) raising close communication between agricultural experts updating technical ground vector well pesticides.
