Improved column preparation and performance in capillary electrochromatography

摘要: Problems encountered in capillary electrochromatography, i.e. non-reproducible column manufacture, bubble formation during usage, short lifetimes and limited choice of packing particles are addressed by the development fritless or single-frit, internally tapered, segmented dead-volume free coupled columns. The Van Deemter plots measured demonstrate performance these high-quality capillaries which suitable for electrochromatography as well high-performance liquid chromatographic applications.
