摘要: Autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) is an organ specific autoimmune condition which can manifest at any age of life. The heterogeneous nature this means that great variation be seen in severity, progression disease and response to treatment within patient group. Since the 1980s prednisolone azathioprine have been used for induction remission remain mainstay treatment. Other immunosuppressive agents employed difficult treat cases. While there less published data regarding these compared with conventional treatments steroid azathioprine, mounting evidence support use mycophenolate mofetil as a second-line agent. calcineurin inhibitors, though studied, additionally show promise. More needed on biological refractory disease. This review focuses our centre's approach AIH context contemporary literature.
