摘要: The painting Couple with Clouds in their Heads by Salvador Dali (1936) from the Museum Boijmans van Beuningen Rotterdam was seriously disfigured ring formations on edges of and a matt, white-looking semi-transparent material surface. Paint samples, taken affected unaffected paint areas, investigated light, scanning electron ATR-FTIR microscopy X-ray diffraction showed that zinc white-containing oil converted into soaps, formate dihydrate, acetate dihydrate sulfide. conversion white started at surface painting. Zinc soaps are formed reaction fatty acids oil. Formate acetate, most likely emitted wooden frame, reacted pigment. Finally, sulfide is suggested to derive reacting hydrogen
