摘要: Background Orbital myositis is a relatively rare ocular inflammatory disease. It currently classified as an idiopathic orbital disease, but has been associated with and systemic disorders, including scleritis, rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's lupus erythematosis. also infectious disease such streptococcal pharyngitis, viral upper respiratory infection, Borrelia burgdorferi infection. Case Report Discussion This report documents treatment imaging of 13-year-old boy who had episode right-sided following pharyngitis anti-streptolysin-o (ASO) titer elevation to 1,188 IU/ml. Clinically, this patient demonstrated acute onset marked restriction mild under-action the lateral rectus muscle right eye. Thickening medial recti was on computed tomography. The treated oral nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug therapy. nonconcomitant strabismus resolved approximately 7 weeks after initial presentation. General management association tract infection are discussed. Conclusion distinct clinical entity that can occur consisting pain movement, localized swelling, restrictive strabismus, signs involved muscle(s).
