摘要: For the first time, an innovative concept of combining sponge-based moving bed (SMB) and osmotic membrane bioreactor (OsMBR), known as SMB-OsMBR hybrid system, were investigated using Triton X-114 surfactant coupled with MgCl2 salt draw solution. Compared to traditional activated sludge OsMBR, system was able remove more nutrients due thick-biofilm layer on sponge carriers. Subsequently less fouling observed during wastewater treatment process. A water flux 11.38 L/(m(2) h) a negligible reverse documented when deionized served feed solution mixture 1.5 M 1.5 mM used The indicated that stable 10.5 L/(m(2) h) low accumulation achieved in 90-day operation. Moreover, nutrient removal efficiency proposed close 100%, confirming effectiveness simultaneous nitrification denitrification biofilm overall performance demonstrates its potential application treatment.
