摘要: Background Measles outbreaks continue to occur in Europe as a result of suboptimum vaccination coverage. This article aims describe individuals susceptible measles, and provide an overview affected groups the public settings which measles transmission occurred 2005-2009. Methods Individuals were described categorized on basis factors leading nonvaccination vaccine failure. A literature search was conducted identify occurred. Results Most are previously uninfected unvaccinated. The reasons for eligible ranged from lack information poor access health care. Several have emerged Roma Sinti, Traveller, anthroposophic, ultra-orthodox Jewish communities, immigrants identifying them being particularly at risk. Public included mostly educational care facilities. Conclusions Improved efforts needed strengthen immunization programs, barriers measles-containing uptake, explore methods target vulnerable populations that not reached with routine delivery services. Specific measures prevent control Failure who gets implement elimination strategies raises concerns successful sustainable Europe.
