摘要: Hydroxyapatite (HA) nano-powder was synthesized via wet chemical technique in a used precipitation reaction, which Ca(OH)2 and H3PO4 were as precursors. Deionised water diluting media for the reaction ammonia to adjust pH. The synthetic HA has some medical applications such coating material orthopaedic implants dental. powder been studied at different temperatures from 100 800 °C achieve stoichiometric Ca/P ratio 1.667. optimum temperature found be 600 °C. Above this temperature, decomposed CaO. crystallite size of range 8.47–24.47 nm. crystallographic properties evaluated by X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, energy dispersive spectroscopy scanning electron microscopy. results show that, high purity nano-hydroxyapatite powders could obtained low temperatures, crystallinity, resulting nanoparticles dependent on calcination temperature. When exceeded 1.75, formation CaO phase observed.
