摘要: Abstract The anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility (AMS) weakly deformed sediments the subalpine Terres Noires (French Alps) is due to phyllosilicates (matrix contribution) and detrital titanomagnetites (ferromagnetic variable grain size. Various rock techniques have been carried out understand origin scattering maximum minimum axes. We demonstrate major contribution matrix, both AMS anisotropy, even when mean matrix weak. This suggests that are better oriented within foliation plane intrinsic titanomagnetite grains probably weaker than expected. Also, separation two subfabrics three selected sites by coupling together low-field AMS, HFA (high-field AMS) AAS (anisotropy anhysteretic remanence) demonstrates existence a competition between lineations an interchange intermediate axes as result fine titanomagnetite. first evidence so-called “intermediate fabric” predicted theory.
