摘要: markdownabstract__Abstract__ Pain can be classified in several ways. The International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) recommends describing pain according to five categories or axes, namely its anatomical location (neck, lower back, etc.), body system involved (gastrointestinal, nervous, temporal characteristics (intermittent, constant, intensity and time since onset, etiology (cause). idea discriminate between ‘nociceptive’ pain and ‘neuropathic’ only came into common clinical practice last decade. Since then, probably due therapeutic consequences of this classification, proposal has become increasingly appreciated as a meaningful way define pain. In nociceptive somatic pain, initial stimulus peripheral nociceptor is produced chemically result (potential) tissue damage. In contrast, neuropathic pain results from complex changes physiology nerve involved; implies an affliction anywhere along neuraxis cortical neurons down the anterior horn cell ganglia nervous system. causes include structural damage by disease, trauma, metabolic disturbance, and infection.
