Electronic structure of nonpolar surfaces of II–VI compounds

摘要: The nature of surface states in cleaved surfaces II–VI compounds with zincblende structure is studied. tight‐binding method used to calculate the electronic a layer twelve (110) planes. results show various bands both gap and empty lenses projected bulk band structure. these discussed comparison available experiments presented. support model ionic previously proposed for surfaces.
