摘要: Numerous recent findings indicate the possible involvement of an immune mechanism in pathogenesis neurodegeneration. The reaction could either act as a primary event, generating changes leading to cell death, or be secondary response neuronal injury. In various neurodegenerative disorders such Alzheimer's, Huntington's Pick's disease, Down's syndrome, multiple sclerosis and AIDS-dementia complex, inflammatory pathomechanism is strongly supported by experimental clinical studies. Such mechanisms have also been postulated Parkinson's disease (PD). This review summarizes some generalities about inflammation reactions context brain, provides clinical, epidemiological data showing that immunity, even auto-immunity, implicated PD, its initial step progression. Different models useful for studying role(s) (auto)immunity process dopaminergic neurons PD are examined. major similarities differences between other discussed.
