摘要: This study was undertaken to see whether insulin resistant individuals, who are chronically hyperinsulinemic, have a higher heart rate (HR) than sensitive, normoinsulinemic subjects. A total of 45 normotensive, nondiabetic individuals had insulin-mediated glucose disposal quantified by the suppression test. In an effort minimize variables known modify rate, such as diet, exercise, and emotional distress, continuously monitored during sleep electronic device measuring RR intervals. The average (as calculated mean 30,720 +/- 208 beats per subject over monitoring time 6.9 0.6 h) significantly related (r = 0.61; P < .001) resistance expressed steady-state plasma (SSPG) response continuous infusion glucose, somatostatin 75 g oral challenge 0.51; .001). These significant relationships between HR both SSPG persisted after adjustment stepwise regression analysis for age, gender distribution, body mass index, physical activity, family history either diabetes or hypertension. results show that with compensatory hyperinsulinemia, nocturnal rate: finding consistent possibility increased rates secondary insulin-induced sympathetic activity.
