摘要: Frontotemporal Lobar Degeneration (FTLD) thus recently renamed, refers to a spectrum of heterogeneous conditions. This same heterogeneity presentation represents the major methodological limit for correct evaluation clinical designation and brain functional correlates. At present, no study has investigated clusters due specific cognitive behavioural disturbances beyond current criteria. The aim this was identify FTLD presentation, based on profile, define their SPECT correlations. Ninety-seven patients entered study. A standardised assessment were preformed, as well perfusion imaging Latent Profile Analysis clinical, neuropsychological, data performed. Voxel-basis analysis computed. Three identified named "pseudomanic behaviour" (LC1), "cognitive" (LC2), "pseudodepressed (LC3) endophenotypes. These endophenotypes showed comparable hypoperfusion in left temporal lobe, but pattern involving: medial orbitobasal frontal cortex LC1, subcortical region LC2, right dorsolateral insula LC3. findings provide evidence that functional-cluster symptom relationship can be delineated by assessment. understanding different correlates presentations will hopefully lead possibility individuating diagnostic treatment algorithms.
