摘要: Total synthesis of podophyllotoxin is an expensive process and availability the compound from natural resources important issue for pharmaceutical companies that manufacture anticancer drugs. In order to facilitate reasoned scientific decisions on its management conservation selective breeding programme, genetic analysis 28 populations was done with 19 random primers, 11 ISSR primers 13 AFLP primer pairs. A total 92.37 %, 83.82 % 84.40 polymorphism among Podophyllum were detected using RAPD, makers, respectively. Similarly mean coefficient gene differentiation (Gst) 0.69, 0.63 0.51, indicating 33.77 29.44 26 diversity resided within population. Analysis molecular variance (AMOVA) indicated 53 62 64 studied attributed geographical location while 47 38 36 differences in their habitats markers. An overall value estimated number flow (Nm) 0.110, 0.147 0.24 markers there limited sampled populations.
