摘要: Aim Data on safety of paediatric percutaneous native kidney biopsy (PNKB) using automated devices and real-time ultrasonography are lacking. The objective this study was to evaluate the identify factors predicting bleeding complications associated with PNKB protocol. Methods A total 227 patients aged <18 years who underwent first were analyzed. primary outcome divided into minor major complications. Minor included perirenal haematoma macroscopic haematuria. Major requirement blood transfusion, a higher level care or vasopressors maintain haemodynamic stability, angiographic surgical intervention, death. Results Perirenal occurred in 58 (25%) haematuria 46 (20%). Two independently multivariate model. These male gender weight for height Z-score <−0.5. Three (1.3%), all had (two required transfusion one surgery repair an injured renal artery). Conclusions The favourable information from our is useful when counselling parents undergoing similar protocols. can be safely performed precautions taken prevent bleeding. Selection instruments should tailored according patient size.
